北京在1987年12月28日围绕首都市区开通了地铁环线列车，与原有的一线列车相连。原有的一线列车修建于上世纪60年代。
Beijing opened a circle line around the Chinese capital and linked it to another, older subterranean route on Dec. 28, 1987. The older linear route was built in the 1960s.
