美国总统就职仪式的准备工作已经进行了数月之久，为当选总统奥巴马1月20日的就职仪式准备足够的座位、看台、移动式厕所以及其他设施。
Work has been going on for months to get Washington supplied with all the seats, viewing stands, portable restrooms and other amenities it will need for the inaugural ceremony for President-elect Barack Obama on Jan. 20.

On Thursday, the media were given access to the west side of the Capitol, where Mr. Obama will be sworn in Tuesday as the 44th president. Photographers took pictures of the flag-adorned building.
