据英国新科学家杂志报道，目前，摄影师克里斯·约旦(Chris Jordan)以图解透视的形式描述了人类日常生活中的产品消费状况，通过直观的摄影图片方式，让人们透过日常生活中所消耗的能量材料，进一步意识到全球环保危机。

　　如图所示，这是28000桶42加仑容量装的石油，然而令人惊讶的是，这仅仅是美国每两分钟所消耗的石油量。

　　目前美国多数消耗的石油都是通过进口，美国近70%的石油是进口石油，化工产业将近一半的石油用于制造生产塑胶、溶剂和医药品。
