The 12th Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF), started its eight-day schedule on Thursday, in the southeastern port city of Pusan, South Korea.
China's portal website Sina reports many South Korean stars, including Kim So Yeon, Eugene, Uhm Jung Hwa, Jang Hyuk, Kim Tae Hee and Lee Dong Gun walked the red carpet at the festival opening ceremony.
According to the earlier reports, famous Chinese director Feng Xiaogang's film "The Assembly" was selected as the PIFF opening presentation. Feng and other staff members held a press conference on Thursday afternoon before the film's world premiere.
