Thirty-six fish farmers pulled a 3,000 meter long net through Qiandao Lake on Wednesday in east China's Zhejiang Province. Twenty minutes later they caught a staggering 60,000 kilograms of fish.
The mass fishing event is a regular autumn attraction in the area to cerebrate the harvest season.
The event has also become a famous tourist attraction for people visiting the lake.
Qiandao Lake is a man-made lake located in Chun'an County, Zhejiang Province, China. It was formed after the completion of the Xinanjiang Hydroelectric Station. There are 1078 large islands and a few thousand smaller ones in the lake. It covers an area of 573 square kilometres, it has a storage capacity of 17.8 cubic kilometres.
